The couple who purchased this 1901 Colonial Revival house in a suburban area of Minneapolis waited a couple of years prior to modifying it, despite the fact that it did not have a main restroom and had an insufficient kitchen area. “They wished to see what they liked and what wasn’t working for them prior to redesigning,” states Joe Dean, designer and job supervisor at TreHus Architects + Interior Designers + Builders. Once they had an excellent concept of what they desired, the couple employed his company to develop a two-story addition with a cooking area on the very first flooring and a main suite above.
Since appreciating the house’s initial architecture was necessary to the property owners, Dean and his group initially got rid of an inadequately done addition off the back of your house. Then they created and constructed a brand-new addition that broadened the house in a smooth and cohesive method. In this brand-new main restroom, conventional components and timeless surfaces honor the house’s design and duration.
