Lawyers representing FTX creator Sam Bankman-Fried and the U.S. Lawyer’s Workplace for the Southern District of New york city appeared in federal court Thursday hours after district attorneys yielded that 5 of Bankman-Fried’s 13 charges ought to be severed from his indictment amidst continuous legal procedures in the Bahamas, where he was jailed in late 2022.
