Recently, when Craig Seebald got a text from a good friend with a heading concerning the merger of the PGA Trip, DP World Trip and LIV Golf leagues, he was amongst those stunned by the news.
” I believed they were sending me a parody post from The Onion [website],” stated Seebald, one of 2 Washington, D.C.-based antitrust legal representatives talked to about it. “I then saw it was from the Wall Street Journal, and still didn’t think it, believing it was something like the [fake] Will Street Journal, and my phone exploded with individuals texting me about it. I was as stunned as everyone else.”
