Prior To: This image was taken throughout the tiling stage of building. The floor covering is a large-format ceramic tile in white. It’s from the R-Evolution line by Ceragres, which has a modern-day cement appearance. The tile appears to extend flawlessly from the restroom flooring onto the shower flooring. This was difficult, due to the fact that there are some joints. “Among the most significant difficulties here was what we call ‘flexing the tile’ from the flat location around the toilet to the sloped flooring inside the shower,” Simpson states. “While we do not actually flex it, we need to make cuts in the tile in between the flat and sloped floorings while still offering it a constant appearance.”
In this image, the foot is pointing towards these cuts in the flooring tile, which were later on covered by the shower’s glass enclosure. This creative cutting offers the tile a constant check out the space into the shower stall.
